WOW a lot has happened since the last time I was on here!
I guess I could start with Zimbabwe! I honestly don't think there are many words to describe that trip! Our team had an amazing time and great things were done for the glory of the Lord! I think my high point of the trip was when we were heading (like 3 miles) to one of the school, and we came across 5 ladies washing clothes. They flagged us down and wanted to talk to us! They asked us why we we were there, so Mr. Paul told them we were from American and that we had come to spread the good news of Christ. They immediately began explaining that they could not be born again because they had been through bad things. Mr. Paul asked me to share my testimony with the women and the more I told them the more they began to become excited! I asked them all if they understood that we have all fallen short and that God's love is so much bigger than our past mistakes. They all said yes and accept Christ in their hearts in that very moment! Whew! Wanna talk about something that changes your life! It was truly one of the most blessed moments in my life! I can't wait to see those 5 women in heaven one day! (That's all the women and me in that pictures)
Okay, so now I'll give a short update on school....I fell into the "Good Student" Category this summer and decided to take summer classes! I'm going crazy! I'm in my last two days and I think that time is standing still! I love my Art Appreciation class! And I'm not just saying that because I follow my professor on Blog Spot :) Seriously, Ms. Foy your class rocks! It wasn't just some boring history class full of funny named people, it was a great hands on class full of funny named people! I'm also taking American History with Mr. Shaheen and I gotta say that next to my daddy he is probably the smartest guy I know when it comes to History! I love that class! I'm almost done, and I've kept my GPA up!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Now I've just got to get through this fall at Tate State (aka:Northwest) and then I'm off to Arkansas State!!! My mom totally doesn't think I'll go, but I have my heart set on it :) I know I can be a total baby but I'm really going to try to do this for myself. I need to be on my own a little bit before I run off and get....well...let's not get ahead of ourselves!
Okay so latest update on Honduras? I'm not gonna go into detail or I'll get emotional but I'm not going to be able to go until January! That's all my saying! Okay I swear I'm gonna keep this thing up and running again!
Praying for Brandon and Julie as they travel home safely with the newest edition to their sweet, sweet family!!!
